BIOGRAPHY
Brad Malow's directing and performance work has been seen in many regional and off-broadway venues including: Soho Rep, The Minetta Lane, Cherry Lane Theatre, Abrons Arts Center/Henry Street Settlement, The Acorn Theatre, Young Playwrights Inc., New Dramatists, Symphony Space, Cortland Rep, Indiana Rep, The WorkShop Theater Company, American Heartland Theatre, Millbrook Playhouse, Steppenwolf Theatre, and ImprovOlympic. Brad frequently focuses his attention in the areas of both new play and new musical development and has proudly helmed a plethora of regional and world premiere productions. He is a graduate of Playwrights Horizons Theatre School at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and was recently invited back to guest direct their world premiere of Tom's Nightmare by Andrew Farmer. Brad is also the recipient of NYU's prestigious Robert Moss Award for Outstanding Director.
Brad had the privilege of collaborating with Pulitzer Prize nominee Craig Wright (Six Feet Under, Lost) in directing the NYC premiere reading of Wright's play Grace at Manhattan Theatre Club's Creative Center. The reading starred three-time Tony Award nominee Kelli O'hara and Drama Desk nominees Paul Sparks and Jason Butler Harner. Other recent work includes the world premieres (and tours) of Sky Boys: The Building of The Empire State Building and Jose Limon: The Making of an Artist.
